Lake Arrowhead: A Photo Diary

Wednesday, October 27, 2010

This past weekend the gang headed up to Lake Arrowhead for some serious R&R. We brought the pup (obvs) and enjoyed a weekend full of pajama-time game playing (seriously, i didn't change out of them ONCE), fire-building, milk shake shack visiting, hiking in the forest, swinging on the nearby playground and lots and lots of napping. I wish I could go back! Some photos from the weekend below. Thanks to JT & Family for letting us borrow your log cabin for the weekend!

  1. My husband's family has a cabin up in the Gold Country, in Twain Harte, CA. It's so fun staying in and being homebodies there. Our weekend visits consisted of a bit of wine tasting, lots of barbecuing and sitting around a bonfire. I miss that.

  2. HI!

I just saw that you commented on my blog and realized I hadn't acknowledged it. I love this entry, so simple. Is it strange that I think that grainy photographs are really charming and beautiful?

I would love to be your friend, and I am looking forward to reading all that this blog will offer.

PS I like your welcome blurb.

  3. I had no idea you were in Southern California! One of my girlfriends lives up in Big Bear and we try to visit her often...it's right next to Arrowhead! Nice photos, btw.

  5. It blows my mind that within a few hours of LA you can be in the desert, on a lake, or in the mountains. Take your pick. Can't believe we missed out on Lake Arrowhead while we were living so close!

Looks like a perfect weekend of R&R, and my GAWD is that lil' Scout muffin adorable.
