You guys! I did it! I finally finally finally buckled down and broke the piggy bank for a new camera! I purchased the Canon Rebel T2i and I couldn't be happier! Unfortunately, it's been pretty rainy in Los Angeles since I returned from the east coast, but I've gotten a chance to snap a few shots around my house. I'm really excited to learn and practice using this bad boy, and I can't wait to bring my own photography to La Petite Choue this year! Happy New Year to you all!

    That is super exciting. I've been wanting to do the same but you just have to get that sudden urge and voila! ... you've bought a new, fun camera. Can't wait to see more of your pics. These are great.

    WHAT?!?! This is *SO* effing exciting! This is going to change your life, really. I just geeked out and read the entire gizmodo review you linked to and it sounds like THE most amazing camera. You'll easily master on the auto controls and have a ball learning as you work your way through the manual controls. What a great investment. YAY! So happy for you! SCOUT PICS. NOW.

    girl i'm in the process of doing the same thing. fancy cameras are hard to learn, but worth the photos. great ones so far!
