I'm in smack in the middle of callbacks for my show (casting is hard work, people!) and just picked up that nasty cold I've been trying to ward off for a month now. C'est la vie. Artist Profile: Hollin Pulley

Since photography is obviously a big theme on La Petite Choue this week, I couldn't help but introduce you all to one of my favorite photographers (who lucky for me, happens to be one of my favorite friends), Ms. Hollin Pulley. Hollin is a pilates instructor by day and rogue photographer by night. She is also is what I like to call a triple threat; she's from the south, she has a dog and she loves desserts equally as much as I do. Hollin even inspired me to purchase my own camera (we have the same Canon Rebel Ti2) and her photographs are simply stunning. I am also slightly biased as she is particularly talented at shooting animals (ahem, notice the many pictures of my Scout!) Cameras & Canons

You guys! I did it! I finally finally finally buckled down and broke the piggy bank for a new camera! I purchased the Canon Rebel T2i and I couldn't be happier! Unfortunately, it's been pretty rainy in Los Angeles since I returned from the east coast, but I've gotten a chance to snap a few shots around my house. I'm really excited to learn and practice using this bad boy, and I can't wait to bring my own photography to La Petite Choue this year! Happy New Year to you all!

July 4th Photo Bliss

Check out this gorgeous 4th of July inspired collaboration photo shoot by talented photographer Kelli Trontell and stylist Vanessa Warren of Butterfly Sparks.  I just may re-create all this 4th of July good-ness next year!

Up Up and Away!

I hope by now all of you have had the chance to view Pixar's latest movie; Up. If you haven't - the story follows Carl Fredricksen, a 78 year old balloon salesman who finally fulfills his lifelong dream of a great adventure when he ties thousands of balloons to his house and flies away to the wilds of South America, all of course, for love.


Up was one of my favorite movies from 2009 and when I stumbled upon this adorable Up inspired engagement shoot by Wildflowers Photography, I had to share!

East L.A. Photo Shoot

The lovely Ms. Phoebe Stockman came to visit me last weekend. It was her very first trip to Los Angeles and I took her for a long drive throughout east L.A. Phoebe is a junior at Wellesley college in MA, and a budding and incredibly talented photographer.
