She recently worked in Paris writing ad copy for a little company called Louis Vuitton. Amy and I have been communicating over the interweb for a while now, and I was thrilled when she asked me to giveaway a new copy of her bookParis, My Sweet: A Year in the City of Light (and Dark Chocolate)Amy's book chronicles a sweet freak's journey working in Paris on the Champs-Élysées, exploring patisseries and boulangeries and marveling at the City of Lights. To win a copy of Paris, My Sweet, please leave a comment below with who you'd like to give this book to. A winner will be chosen this Friday. Best of luck, mes amies!

  2. It's shameful, but I'd like to give this book to ME! The past couple of years have been a bit hellish. While things appear to be looking up a trip to Paris is not in the cards in the near future. Amy's book would be the next best thing.

  3. I would love to share this book with my mother! We travelled to Paris together two summers ago, and are planning to go again as soon as we can save enough $$!!I have been following Amy's Blog for the past year and feel very connected to her. I love NYC too (not as much as Paris of course....) and often share Amy's posts about NY with my youngest daughter who is a recent transplant to the Big Apple. Please pick me!

  4. I would love to give this book to my aunt.
We're really close, and she LOVES to travel, just like me. She went to Paris, as a matter of fact, last year, but could only stay for a day. She loves to read too! So this would be perfect.

  8. This book should be given to my mother! I made a promise to myself that after 5 months of living in France (and visiting Paris during the weekends), I'd take my Mama there someday. This book would be a wonderful way to get started. =)

  9. I would love to give a copy of this book to my friend Clare. 7 years ago, I accompanied her on her first trip to Paris (I had already become addicted some years earlier!) and she fell hard.... so much so that we plan annual trips there together. We live at opposite ends of the UK, so Paris is our perfect meeting place. We both follow Amy's adventures and have even trcked down some of her recommendations during our trips (bonjour, Cornet Vegetarien!)

  10. I would give this book to my dear friend Anne, who is herself a Parisienne with a killer sweet tooth. Unfortunately, as of late, she has fallen out of love with the city and is desperately in need of a spark to reignite her love affair with Paris.

BUT, I want to read it first AND accompany her on some sweet adventures (pun intended).

  12. As a former French teacher, I adore France but feel as though I am coming home each time I stay. I like to stay at least a month at a time. To have a book about sweets in Paris, c'est merveilleux! I hope I win and I would love to meet the author!

  13. I would read this first and then probably hop on a plane and just go to Paris sampling the delights of the city. I would then pass the book on to a friend who I have convinced to visit Paris and she gets all my books on Paris-a girl has to know where to go eat.

    Thank you.
