Dear October,
Please please leave your hot rays of constant sunshine behind.. Give us thunderstorms and chilly late afternoons so that we can wear sweaters and socks and go apple picking and drink hot cider. I really like you as a month and I feel like if I channel my inner Autumn enough, you will make these wishes come true. No offense to you, Summer, but it's time to go. We'll see you next year. Let Fall come. Ya hear?
Love,
La Petite Choue

ReplyDeleteHi - just dropped by and have to say I am loving your blog too! Newest follower 4 hundred and something. I am embracing Autumn now - have just come home from a local apple festival - more apples than you can know what to do with, juice, chutney, cider, pie, crumble, cake, jam; you name it, it was there. It is raining. Gonna light the fire for an evening in. Yep - it's arrived here in England for sure. Lou xxx

ReplyDeleteWell Kate I must say I couldn't have said it better myself! It's 10:00 a.m. here and already 86 degrees outside. I might make some cider anyway because that sounded just so delish.
