As Los Angeles slowly (I mean it, it's slow as molasses!) slides into Fall, here are the tunes on repeat on my own personal jukebox. For some reason, Fall music fits into the same category for me as early-Sunday-morning-before-the -california-haze-has-burned-off music. I am addicted to every single piece of Steven Alan's new Fall Collection, especially that little blue dress up top. For all of you who like myself, love but can't afford this stuff, try the Steven Alan Outpost locations in Los Feliz/Upper West Side. I've found some incredible pieces at each store for half the price!

Beckoning Autumn

Dear October,

Please please leave your hot rays of constant sunshine behind.. Give us thunderstorms and chilly late afternoons so that we can wear sweaters and socks and go apple picking and drink hot cider. I really like you as a month and I feel like if I channel my inner Autumn enough, you will make these wishes come true. No offense to you, Summer, but it's time to go. We'll see you next year. Let Fall come. Ya hear?

Fall in love with Sretsis!

As the first official week of fall comes to a close, I'd love to shed a little light on one of my new favorite clothing lines; Stretsis. Their new fall collection epitomizes the surprising oppositional aspects of the collection, juxtaposing acid pink, electric blue and lion gold against soft pastels like lilac and faded rose. They have a wide range of new items including classic cocktail dresses, acid zipper trompe l'oeil jeans, scalloped rib skirts, oversize knitted blazers and tuxedo tail jackets. p.s. If you didn't figure it out already, Stretsis spells Sisters backwards and was in fact, created by a group of 3 sisters. How cool!
